Emily weaves on a Swedish-style loom using old-school techniques and tools. This generously sized linen and local alpaca throw blanket is truly stunning. Because she worked with local fiber farmers to bring these to you, from the fleece of one particular animal (Mia) only 4 blankets were made this year! They are gloriously soft, heavy and have a beautiful drape. They are thin but scrumptiously warm. The striped pattern is exactly reversed on the back side, light areas showing more of the linen threads and dark areas showing more alpaca.
